Product Features

Description

Ultramodern design makes the DF9.9B EFI one of the most technically advanced portable outboards on the market today. It's the world's first 9.9 HP outboard motor designed with Lean Burn and Battery-Less Electronic Fuel Injection, and Suzuki's EFI system is the first in its horsepower class to work without a battery. The DF9.9B EFI is a smooth-running "Next Generation" four-stroke that delivers quick starts, great acceleration, astounding performance and superior fuel economy.

The new fuel-injection components (in-line high-pressure fuel pump, fuel cooler, vapor separator, injectors and throttle body) were designed as compact and light as possible, so the whole system takes about the same space and weight as a carburetor. Fuel injection gives easier, more dependable starts in nearly any condition, with smoother running and less vibration, and Suzuki's Lean Burn Control delivers outstanding fuel economy.

An Easy Start recoil starter with a very light pull makes starting exceptionally easy for almost everyone. Go Lean, Clean and Green, Go Suzuki!
